Copa del Rave Is Bringing World-Class DJs and Watch Parties to Los Angeles All Summer
Copa del Rave takes over Academy LA and Exchange LA this summer with a global soccer watch party residency featuring Claude VonStroke, DJ Minx, Todd Edwards, Pangea Sound, and more.
The LA-born series announced a full summer residency at two of the city's top nightclubs Academy LA and Exchange LA turning match days into full-blown cultural events. Live DJs. Global food. Curated drinks from competing nations. And a room packed with real fans.
The Concept
Every match day gets its own identity. DJs spin sets tied to the nations on screen. Promoters with real roots in global party culture bring their communities to the floor. The energy shifts depending on who is playing.
When Team USA plays, Claude VonStroke and DJ Minx lead the charge. When Mexico takes the pitch, Reggaeton Rave, Gasolina, DoKnow El DJ, and Bolo's Vibraza Records turn up. When African nations compete, Blaq Pages, Foreigner, and Afrobeats To The World curate the sound.
The Lineup
The DJ roster runs deep. Expect sets from Todd Edwards, Pangea Sound (Falcons, SuperNova, Joaqu.n), Cut Snake, Ardalan, Soraya, Life On Planets, Kana Hishiya, TheeMikeB, Ochoonthebeat, and more still to be announced.
Promoter partners include 9AM Banger, Afrobeats To The World, Amor a LA Colombiana, Gasolina, Haitian Spotlight, Pangea Sound, Reggaeton Rave, and Vibraza Records. Niky's Sports is handling retail on-site.
Copa del Rave is building out the full match day experience. Specialty drinks imported from around the world. A rotating lineup of LA food trucks aligned with the nations competing that day. The goal is to let fans taste the global game, not just watch it.
Copa del Rave started in 2019 as a music industry charity soccer tournament in Los Angeles. Since then, the series has raised over $75,000 for charity and drawn appearances from Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Chris Lorenzo, Kah-Lo, and others. The residency continues that mission — this year's charity partner is Common Goal, an organization focused on giving children around the world greater access to the game.
