Adidas and Mexico Drop the Third Kit Ahead of a Historic Home World Cup
Adidas and Mexico reveal the third jersey for the 2026 World Cup. The kit carries a tonal "MX" pattern, a "Somos México" message, and arrives alongside an artisan-crafted collection with Someone Somewhere.
Adidas and the Mexican National Team revealed their third kit ahead of a tournament the country will host for a historic third time. No other nation has done that.
The kit runs under the "Mexican Wa(y)ve" concept, the same thread that connects all three of Mexico's 2026 jerseys. A tonal "MX" pattern covers the body of the shirt. The "V" collar keeps things clean. And stitched into the details is the phrase "Somos México", We are Mexico, a call for unity that also appears on the home and away kits.

The third kit will make its on-pitch debut May 22nd when Mexico faces Ghana.
Adidas paired the release with something worth paying attention to. A collaboration between adidas Originals and Someone Somewhere produced a six-piece apparel collection featuring details handcrafted by artisan women from Naupan, a community in the Sierra Norte de Puebla. The standout piece is the Artisan JSY a lifestyle reinterpretation of the third kit with a polo collar and embroidered touches.

It is a real bridge between sport, culture, and craft. The kind of project that connects a global brand to the hands and communities that define Mexican identity.
The third jersey is available now on adidas.mx and at select adidas stores.
